PU Leather - Don't Let It Fool You

When it comes to costume/cosplay masks, there are a lot of options out there.  On Amazon, for instance, you'll see masks for sale claiming to be made out of leather.  But once you dig into the details, you'll see the words, "PU leather."  

So, what is PU leather?  And why is it so inexpensive?  

PU leather is an artificial material made of thermoplastic polymer.  It's not cool and breathable like real leather, and it can carry a chemical smell.  It's also not durable like real leather, nor will it conform to your unique features with use.  

Unless you require a vegan material for any reason, don't waste your money on these "leather" masks.  They can't hold a candle to the quality, longevity, and comfort that you get with the real thing offered here at Mad Masks.
